What Are Implant Supported Dentures?
Implant supported dentures or "Snap-On" dentures are a favorite among our patients because of their comfort, fit and cost. The treatment typically uses anywhere from 4 to 6 implants to secure a complete upper or lower denture.
The implants will stabilize the denture from moving while eating or speaking. But they allow the patient to remove the denture themselves for cleaning or resting their gums at night.
If you are missing teeth but fear a future with dentures or if you currently wear dentures but struggle with discomfort and a fear of loose, dislodged, or clicking teeth than implant supported dentures could be your solution. supported dentures.
Why Consider Implant Supported Dentures?
Implant supported dentures are a secure, permanent solution to replace bad or missing teeth. They look and feel like natural teeth. They won't slip or cause gum pain. They will restore your ability to eat whatever you want. And they will allow you smile again with confidence.
And did you know implants will help maintain a more youthful appearance by maintaining your jawbone?
When a tooth is lost, the jawbone beneath it begins to shrink and become brittle. Not only does losing a tooth affect your smile, it also changes the shape of your face causing you to look prematurely aged.
Fortunately, dental implants help stop this aging process by mimicking the root of a tooth. Dental implants will continue to stimulate the jawbone and thus prevent continued jawbone recession.
