Snap-On Dentures
Snap-On Dentures are a favorite among our patients because of their comfort, fit and cost. If you are missing teeth but fear a future with dentures or if you currently wear dentures but struggle with discomfort and a fear of loose, dislodged, or clicking teeth than Snap-On Dentures could be your solution.
What Are Snap-On Dentures?
It is a type of overdenture that is supported by and snapped onto implants. A snap-on-denture is attached to implants that do not let it slip or slide in place while eating and speaking as opposed to a regular denture that rests on the top of the gum line and tends to fit less firmly in the mouth.
Snap-on dentures snap onto at least two titanium dental implants on the lower jaw and four implants on the upper jaw, providing strong anchorage for a full denture. The denture has special removable attachments that snap on to the implants, allowing more comfort and stability than a conventional denture. These attachments can be snapped on and off from your jawbone easily.

There are different types of snap on dentures available in the market, including full and partial types. The full snap on dentures is a great alternative for the individual who do not like the feeling of a denture on the palate (the roof of the mouth). These palateless snap on dentures must be attached to 4-5 implants for a firmer hold. People needing to replace a few to several teeth can opt for partials.
Who Can Benefit From Snap-On Dentures?
A person with no teeth in the jaw, but has enough bone in the jaw to support implants can benefit from a snap-on denture. These dentures usually are designed for the lower jaw because lower dentures are very difficult to wear. Without implants, dentures tend to be less stable there. These dentures are custom made to properly fit your mouth and fulfill your needs.
The full chewing surface coupled with the durability and comfort of the denture not only makes you attractive with flawless smile but also gives a significant boost to your confidence.
